Ordering Questions
-- The BEST way to order
is to use our NEW Adobe Order Forms, (ORDER FORM
PAGE) We have two choices, a
comprehensive and a very comprehensive order form. After you have chosen a form, you can email
it to us by
using the "Submit by Email" button or fill out the form, save
it, and then
attach to a Hotmail, G-mail, Yahoo, AOL, etc... email account (sending
it to
lwester@telusplanet.net). If you
would rather not send personal information over the internet, you may
also fill out the form and fax us at 1-403-377-2270 (24hrs).
-- If you are not able to open our order form, it is most
likely because you do not have Adobe reader. There is a link above the
order form selections that allows you to download the free version of
Adobe Reader. If it still won't let you open or you are on a slower
connection, contact us and we can fax or email a form to you.
-
I Can't Submit the Order Form, There is an Email
Error...

through a program such as Microsoft Outlook. You can fix this problem by
setting up your Microsoft Outlook email or SAVE the FILLED out PDF Order Form and attach
the document to your Hotmail, Gmail, MSN, Yahoo, etc. account. Send it to
lwester@telusplanet.net You may also print,
complete, and fax in your order form.

Shipping Instructions
-- When
you are wanting a custom
tune by Wester's Garage and we require your computer, you must follow
shipping instructions carefully. This will help get your computer here
the best way and by the fastest means possible! Please click
HERE to
read our shipping instructions for a computer that is going to be tuned
and then sent back!
-- When
you purchase a custom tune from Wester's Garage and we send you a
computer for your vehicle, you are required to send your vehicle's original
computer back to Wester's Garage. If
you have not returned a core PCM, and our records indicate you
haven't --
you no longer get free updates. If your core is not returned after 60 days, you cannot return
it for credit--you own it. When you've paid for your core
(non-return or wish to own your stock calibration), you must return the performance PCM when a reburn
or update is desired.
-- If your
core is shipped and received damaged - we'll take a picture of it and email
it to you - it will be returned... we do not accept damaged cores.
Damaged
cores are considered to be in the following condition:
If the core
did not come from your truck, it will be tagged, your name on it,
arrival date and checked to determine functionality.
We do not accept
damaged cores (whether internal or external). It is in your best
interest to ensure the returned core comes from your truck to avoid core
charges. Presently, we have a couple hundred non-functioning computers
from prior clients.

Torque Management
--
Preset values within an ECM calibration to limit or protect either the
engine, transmission or driveline from abusive operation whether brakes
are on or off, and depending on 2 wheel drive or 4 wheel drive-whether
or not axle limits are exceeded.
But at all levels, the values are expressed or measured in maximums
relating to ft/lbs.
Therefore the calibration will either retard spark, or enable cylinder
disable or fuel cut to keep all maximums to an expressed limit. Newer
calibrations use electronic throttle control to limit acceleration or to
limit allowed crankshaft acceleration values.
